In our school, Reception, Y1 and Y2 share a classroom. Each term we have a new topic through which all teaching and learning takes place. The KS 1 Teacher and Nursery nurse work together to plan and create a stimulating learning environment. The classroom is divided into areas of learning, such as Knowledge and Understanding, Literacy or Maths. This gives all children the opportunity to learn creatively through investigation of the activities set out for them, as well as through adult-led teaching. We are particularly proud of our outdoor area and role-play cabin, which are an integral part of the teaching and learning all year round.
